• Criminal Law Update 2009

  The pace of change in criminal law continues unabated. And yet, the pressures of casework reduce the time available to practitioners to keep up-to-date annually. Caseworkers are required to undertake a minimum of 6 hours of criminal law training annually. This course is designed to fulfill these needs by examining recent developments in criminal law and considering their practical application.

  
  

• How to Conduct a Trial in the Magistrates' Court

  This course involves preparation for and participation in a mock criminal trial dealing with drugs, criminal damage, co-defendants and PACE issues. Participants will be allocated either prosecution or defence roles.
